Action: the flag in the hand
The run, the catch, the flag pull. The best frame is the flag coming off the belt.
How to shoot it
- Step 1
The flag pull is the tackle
Frame the runner and the chaser together and burst as the hand reaches. The flag pulled clean, still in the air, is the shot.
- Step 2
Ball and face in one frame
The catch is the hands on the ball with the eyes still on it. Follow your player, not the throw.
- Step 3
Burst through the whole run
A run with the ball lasts a few seconds. Hold burst from the hand-off to the end, then keep the best two.
Pro tip
Watch the belt, not the ball. The flag pull is the photo.
