How to shoot it
- Step 1
Warm-ups are your one chance up close
Before kickoff the team stretches in lines and runs drills on the near side. Stand at the fence for those minutes, because after that the action is forty yards away.
- Step 2
The car on the way home
Grass stains, the helmet on the back seat, the face of a kid who played under the lights. One frame each way. Take it parked, or hand the phone to whoever isn’t driving.
Pro tip
The walk to the car after a night game is its own photo.
