How to shoot it
- Step 1
Take the picture. Don’t share it.
Your private gallery is the place for these. Stand further back than usual so they keep their dignity. A face turned into a towel says more than tears to the camera.
- Step 2
The walk back is the frame
After the result goes up, the walk to the coach or to the car. Shoulders, a coach’s arm, a sibling waiting. You’ll be glad you have it, and glad nobody else saw it that week.
